Set along the water’s edge, this two-story retreat in Lake Mary was designed for a busy couple who wanted a serene counterpoint to their professional lives. Using the lake’s presence as a compass for their creative direction, they requested elements of light, reflection, and softness at the forefront. The finished result blends rustic traditional architecture with modern, relaxed accents: gentle blues, warm neutrals, dark metals calibrated with brass. Signature details include mixed-metal fixtures, textured linens and woven elements, and finish tones that glow under daylight.

We delivered a full style refresh, complete with project management, lighting rework, furniture selection, finishes, kitchen updates, and reimagined layouts, all while preserving the home’s existing bones. One of our most delicate tasks was tuning wall and trim tones to respond to shifting daylight and reflections from the lake. We tested samples at dawn, midday, and dusk, refining until the palette held harmony throughout the day.
